Unlike Adobe though, they do not offer any student/academic discounts, and only provide 1-2 years of support. It could use some work as far as stability, resource usage and a little more compatibility, but I am relatively satisfied (I am not dogging the product, compared to others it is one of the best). I am relatively satisfied with Nitro Pro 10 and the accompanying Nitro Cloud. I recently developed and injury and will likely need some text-to-speech software to be used often (I have Dragon Naturally Speaking). I also want one that is at least semi-secure and stable, as well as affordable. I am majoring in an IT related field (STEM) and plan to specialize in InfoSec. I have been looking for a good PDF editor/creator (Adobe Reader doesn't provide the functionality).
